Feeling low
Are you feeling tired and like you can’t catch a break? Does it feel like productivity is at all time low for yourself? Maybe it’s seasonal depression but maybe your heart is exhausted. Maybe you’re piling your to do list too high so when you finally check some things off the list it looks like nothing has been done.
What does God have to say? He says not to tie your self worth with what you can do. He’s also a fan of the eat and nap method. But seriously, if you aren’t taking care of your well-being you can’t take very good care of everything else around you.
“When Elijah saw how things were, he ran for dear life to Beersheba, far in the south of Judah. He left his young servant there and then went on into the desert another day’s journey. He came to a lone broom bush and collapsed in its shade, wanting in the worst way to be done with it all—to just die: “Enough of this, God! Take my life—I’m ready to join my ancestors in the grave!” Exhausted, he fell asleep under the lone broom bush. Suddenly an angel shook him awake and said, “Get up and eat!” He looked around and, to his surprise, right by his head were a loaf of bread baked on some coals and a jug of water. He ate the meal and went back to sleep. The angel of God came back, shook him awake again, and said, “Get up and eat some more—you’ve got a long journey ahead of you.””

You’ve got a long journey ahead of you. That sounds about right. So what can you do? Look at all the things you’ve accomplished! Small things add up. Look at the bigger picture. You’ve got this my friend. Don’t be discouraged. God is with you where ever you go!!
