Qualified?

Do you ever feel like you don’t know enough, or that you don’t have the experience to get something?

Do you ever feel like you are qualified enough for something and get dismissed?

I feel ya. I get ya.

When it comes to God and what he’s telling you to do, you may never feel qualified but God never checks certification. He just says, “Go.”

It’s easy to think of Moses and all the wonders that he was a part of. But don’t you remember? He was a murderer, and had a speech impediment.

God doesn’t look at the outside but he looks at the heart. God doesn’t see us like we see ourselves. He sees us for what we are.

God is quick to forgive, but we’re a little harder on ourselves. God says “Hey i want you do something!” and we like to pause and think about it. As people we want to be better than we are but we need to slow down and look at ourselves where we’re at.

If we are always looking to the future, we’re going to miss where we are at right now. Yes God sees the future but he doesn’t think, “in the future you’ll be qualified for this.” He says, “you’re enough right now. You can do it.”

It’s hard when others say we’re not qualified, but just remember how God sees you. You will always be enough.
