The significantly small amount

Do you ever feel like you have nothing to give? Are your hands empty? Has all your energy been used up?
God is no stranger to taking little and making a lot. The Gospel of John states that Jesus took 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread to feed 5,000 people. This was from a kids lunch box. He gave Jesus all he had and he multiplied more than he could have imagined.

As humans it’s easy to get caught up in the day to day stresses and worries. What will I eat? How will I pay for my rent? Will there be a bus that can take me to work?
These are all valid inquires. What does God say to them? He says he will take care of you.

God told me to move out of my parents house and he provided a place for me to rent a room. While I was there my work cut my hours drastically. I was just starting out so I didn’t have much money at all. My savings had gone into the deposit for the room and first months rent and car insurance. So here I was with 10 hours of work for the week and all I could think is “how am I going to pay my rent?”
I went to my works website and there was an article that said workers were getting a bonus that week. I got it the next day. And I was able to pay my rent.
God asked me after that, “if I asked you to move out, then why wouldn’t I provide a way for you to pay your rent?”
I wasn’t perfect. I worried. I was scared. But God was there for me. He provided.
God can do a lot with a little, small amount.
If all you have right now is a little faith then give it up to God. The faith the size of a mustard seed can move a mountain.
Do you know what a mustard seed does?
It grows.
If you’re thinking, “Okay God this is it. I’m done. This is all I have.” God will take that and he will provide. He will grow your strength, your faith, and your hope.
God is the king at taking what little we have and making it beautiful.
If you’re feeling broken and hurt, God is right there with you. He’s not going to abandon you. If you think you are little and not enough, God is saying that you are enough. You are big. You are strong. You are loved. You are worthy.

The little that you have is enough.
