A little encouragement for the discouraging times

There are moments in life where situations suck. We all go through something in life. Whether it’s illness, mourning, loss, financial issues, the list can go on and on.

There are circumstances in life that are unfair. It can feel like evil is running the world.
That could be true, but God is bigger than the evil and the injustice we face. He is gracious, loving and fair. He says to leave the wrongs done against us to him and he will take care of it when judgement comes. We can trust that even if justice doesn’t come in our mortal life, that we will see justice when we are in heaven.

It’s easy to get caught up in the drama and hurts that are in our life. Letting go is the best solution to our worries. God is in control of it all. All we have to do is leave it to his good and trusty hands.

There has never been a situation in my life where it doesn’t work out one way or another. It usually never works out the way I think it will but it works out somehow in the end.

Sometimes we think the anxiety for the presentation will never end. Or the looming darkness will never be brought to light. But it always ends. You get up and you do it or you leave it behind. You always have a choice.

You can always choose to keep loving, to put boundaries or to leave. You are the keeper of your life and you are free to be your own person. God loves you as you are and you are free.

You are powerful, you are loved, you are enough. Whatever situation you are going through, you will come out on the other side. It may take some time but you will make it through.
