A pretty picture
At a worship night the other day someone had a picture God gave them. It was about a puzzle. Sometimes you put together a puzzle and you have the box so you know what the puzzle will look like in the end. But God is taking the puzzle with the picture you know and he’s moving it around. He is the only one who knows what the end picture will be.
I asked God what he said my picture looks like for my puzzle. I saw some trees with mountains in the back with beautiful colors in the sky. God said the mountains were the trials I faced. It made me cry because the mountains are my favorite part of the picture and they were the hardest things I have had to endure.
Tragedy and trials aren’t pretty in the moment. Sometimes it feels like they may never be pretty. But God makes everything work out for good. Hindsight really is 20/20. Look back on your life and the trials and hardships and see what good came from it.
Today, ask God what picture he has for you. If you can’t see it ask him what the next piece looks like.
Take a moment to reflect this week and see what good God has done in your life. For every good thing comes from him.
