A time for change
When quarantine was first starting people were up for a change. You saw Youtube phenomena like Chloe Ting become sensations for their 2 week exercise programs.
Then routine set in again and the thought of change sounded scary. It’s really easy to look at the negative side of change. It feels like our brains are hardwired to find the fault in things.
Change doesn’t have to bring a hitch to your breath. Change can be good. Choosing to eat an apple instead of a candy bar or putting your clothes in the hamper instead of on the floor. Those are small choices, ones that seem so small that they are almost insignificant.
But the truth is that, Everything you do matters. You get to choose what you want to do. You get to choose what changes you make.
This is your sign. Make a change. It will start out small but it can lead to bigger ones down the road.
You’re not a loser or a failure. The God of the universe is also the God of second chances, the God who helps you make changes.
You’re not in it alone. You don’t have to go at it alone. God has given you people in your life to help you.
It’s really easy to feel alone. That is why it is so important to communicate with people. You have to tell people you need help making decisions or that you need an accountability partner. You do not have to do this alone.
Change is better when you can talk about it. SO don’t be afraid!
Everything will be okay. You are enough as you. You got this. You can do it!
