Blah days
Blah days are those days you feel like crap or you just feel icky. We all get them. You’re not sick but you don’t want to do anything. It might be a day after you’ve been sick but isn’t necessarily.
These days are the ones you look at yourself and think, “Where is my motivation?” “how am I supposed to do life today?”
On blah days you have to extend yourself grace. It’s okay to read your book and watch some TV or a video on your phone. Some days you need to rest. You can still be productive. Take a nap and eat some food and you will most likely feel a little better!
In 1 Kings 19 it says Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” Then he lay down under the tree and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him and said, “Get up and eat.”
Obviously theres context before this. Elijah’s life has been threatened. A ton of other prophets had been killed by the sword. I don’t know what you’re going through right now to give you a blah day. Maybe you have been threatened, maybe you’re weak from overworking.
Whatever is plaguing you, God is there beside you. Take the blah day as a hint from your body to slow down for a minute, rest up and eat up. You are a powerful person. Believe in yourself. Believe in God and his plans for you.
God is right beside you holding you. You can get through this day and this life. Find a new perspective. Do some exercise. Eat some fruit. Take care of yourself!
If you’re feeling blah today, what is something you want to do?
Can you take a nap and eat a snack?
If you don’t like naps, close your eyes and rest for 15 minutes. Make sure to tell your thoughts to go away so you don’t focus on stressful things.
God is with you. NO one can be against you.
