Fight back!

Hey! What is going on?

Has sh*t hit the fan? Does it feel like nothing can go right for you?

Yeah that sounds familiar.

Guess what? Just like how you aren’t nice just because others are nice to you, but you’re nice to just be nice, you can hope for good things even though bad things are happening because bad things don’t last forever.

Nothing lasts forever except for love and for Jesus. So, what I’m saying is that this season of pain won’t last forever. There will be an end, every season has an end.

Just like in Cobra Kai we have to fight! Maybe not in the same way. (I don’t recommend fighting people and am not responsible if you are charged with assault, lol). But sometimes you have to fight for your life! You have to fight for your love and for your joy. You have to fight a spiritual battle, a mental battle.

If you fight with gratefulness, let me tell you, you will feel a difference. I’ve fought depression and have fought depressive episodes. You have to find what you love and use it to love your heart and mind back to life.

God wants you to have a full life. He has given you life abundantly [Matt. 10:10].

Here is Psalm 3 today.

Lord, how many are my foes!
    How many rise up against me!
² Many are saying of me,
    “God will not deliver him.”

³ But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
    my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
⁴ I call out to the Lord,

Woah! Do you feel that? Do you believe that God is shielding you?

He is taking care of you! He is loving you and taking care of you! You are not alone and you are not broken. You are more than enough. God will sustain you.
