Hearing the heart of the father

Some days you don’t want to do the work you need to do. Laundry piles up or dishes, or maybe you don’t want to be at your job anymore. It’s monotonous and boring, or your managers are jerks. We ALL know how you’re feeling.
It’s a weird society now that says you’re lazy if you don’t want to be at your job, or you need to grow and move! You shouldn’t work at that fast food place or you shouldn’t be looking for a new job with higher pay when your job is one with career opportunities!
Listen to what God is telling you. There are so many voices that will scream to get your attention. You have to seek to listen to that still small voice, even if God tells you the opposite of what you want. Everything inside of you will scream no! This is usually the time when we are moving out of comfort zones.

There is no simple formula to hear the voice of God. The good lord will speak to you however he wants to, and that is your opportunity to hone in and find what he’s saying.

The world is going to bash on you when you make decisions based on what God has told you. You quit your job? Yeah that’s a mistake, says the world but God says, “lean on me.”

You ask to pray for someone and they say no. You can pray for them in you heart.

I just want to tell somebody out there that you are not out of time. You are not falling behind. You are exactly where you are meant to be. To hear the heart of the Father is to have a relationship with him. That’s not to say you can’t hear from him when you don’t know him (just look at Saul. He persecuted the name of Jesus but Jesus came to him!) It just gets easier to hear the voice of God when you are spending time with him. But I’m not all knowing like him, so he will talk however he wants.

It also gets easier when you are in relationship with the lord to see him moving in all things. He moves in the sway of flowers in the wind. He moves in the clouds above and he most importantly moves in your life.

Take a moment today to see how God is moving in your life. Think of something small and see if you can see something bigger.

What can you do today to deepen your relationship with God?

How can you speak into others lives, with love, like Jesus did?
