Hope!!

Life has been a little crazy lately. A lot of brokenness has been brought up, in our country and our everyday lives.

What can we do when it all seems to be falling apart? Well, we can pray. We can seek guidence from trusted friends, family members and mentors.

What we shouldn’t do is give up. Giving up allows room for the enemy to move more deeply in our lives. Hope is like a slap in the face to the devil. Hoping for our country to be better. Hoping for a better job or a pay raise. Hoping for our friends and family to get better.

It’s not dumb or childish to hope. It’s actually really brave. It’s brave to hope for a better day when you feel like you’ve been dragged through hell. It’s brave to fight with hope when you feel scared to call out someone on their racist comments. It’s brave to stand up for what you believe, but it’s also brave to stand still, to seek that still small voice.

Hope is never wasted. Hope builds strength, hope builds character. Hope builds your faith.

“Let us hold unswervingly to the we profess, for he who has promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23

That chapter is all about perseverance. Paul is like (this is the Jaden version:), hey brothers and sisters, I know it’s hard right now and you are being persecuted for loving Christ but it’s worth it. It’s worth it to live for him. The fight is worth it in the end.

So keep on fighting. You got this. Keep hoping, because the God who is doing a great work in you won’t stop now if you just keep going, just keep hoping.
