Let’s do this

Lately I’ve felt defeated but I’ve also felt very connected. To what? You may ask. Good question. 

I’ve felt connected to God. He’s told me to do things and I’ve done them. Pray on your stories. 

Say these things to my daughters. 

These are *easy* things to do since I just have to type it or make a video on my phone. I can do that. 

Going in person and praying for someone is harder. The hard part is asking them if you can pray for them. 

What is it that’s hard? It’s not the actual prayer. It’s the first word. It’s the “hey can I pray for you?” The worst thing they can say is no. But why am I scared to do that? 

It’s easier when it’s someone you know. But what about that random person in Walmart? 

Sometimes you have to step out and do it. You won’t know if you don’t try. If God is telling you to pray or talk or give a word to someone, they may not be the most receptive to it but he’s asking you for a reason. 

Here’s your sign to do that thing God is telling you to do. It’s okay if it’s awkward and scary. It’s just those first few moments you have to endure to get to the good part. You got this!!
