Sensitivity is a gift
This day and age it’s easy to harden your heart and block out people and pain. It’s the easiest thing in the world to hold onto your brokenness and bitterness. It’s hard to forgive, to open up and say what is going on. Being sensitive and being open does not make you weak. Sensitivity is needed today. People need people who are willing to be there for them, to cry with them and listen to them. Jesus didn’t hang out with the people who had their lives *together*. Peace
“Peace bring it all to peace,” the lyrics from Mosaic MSC’s Tremble are a godsend for this crazy time. God will provide. God has “Praise the name of God forever and ever . . . Love, love, love
Everyone needs love. It’s true that love makes the world go around. Kids who are neglected struggle when they are older, just like animals and adults in relationships where love is not present. Love is important. And guess what? Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God and love others. It’s what we’ve been called to do on this earth! Secular love can be draining because that kind of love can be self-seeking (it isn’t always but it can be). A self seeking and self fulfilling love is not sustainable. There is a God shaped hole in everyone’s hearts and if you try to fill it with anything other…
