Taking advantage of your time
We all have heard it, time is precious. We never know what’s going to happen next. A girl I follow on Instagram, her friend, died in a car accident. She was 19 years old and had a baby.
Crap happens to all of us. No one is free from struggles and tribulations. It’s okay to use those tribulations as inspiration to do what you love.
It’s okay to adjust your life for yourself. By this I mean, it’s okay to not do something because you’re not good at it or you don’t want to do it.
I realized a few years ago that I didn’t have to be good at the same things as someone I admire. I can admire them for the things they do but I can also be happy with the things I’m able to do.
Personally I don’t like talking on the phone or selling things. My sister in law is a wonderful salesman. She is great at talking on the phone as well.
You are you and that’s a beautiful thing. You can be you and do what only you can do and live a wonderful and fulfilled life.
Jesus says we need not worry about tomorrow. God is our provider. If he has called you to something, he will provide for you.
When we do what we have been called to, according to his purpose we will be okay. We might not be wealthy, or in control, but God is. He will take care of you.
So if you need a sign today, here it is. You can do it! You can live your dream. Sometimes it takes little steps to reach your dream, but you can start taking them now to reach it further down the line.
You got this. You don’t have to do it alone either. You can ask for help and guidance. Or you can ask people to make up for where you lack.
For me, I asked my husband to make a schedule for me with all the things I need to do. It’s easier for me to stick to a schedule I’ve been given rather than plan one for myself. That doesn’t make me any less just because I need help. It just means I am searching for solutions so I can use my time wisely.
It can take time to set a routine so you can have decent time management, but it is worth it. It might be painful making these changes but it will be worthwhile in the end.
Questions to ask yourself:
How can you better time manage in your life today?
Is there anything you could ask for help for in improve yourself? (Ex. Asking someone to write you a schedule).
Am I doing what God has called me to?
Am I using my time wisely?
