What time is it?
For many of us, set backs have held doors closed in our lives. Illness, poverty, exhaustion, busyness are all things that hold us back from accomplishments. Sometimes it feels easier to just let the bad things hold us back and let it fuel our anger or grief. Holding on to it doesn’t make you feel any better. A lot of the time it brings you down.
Some days go faster and some years too. But what about the things you want to do? What about the paintings? The small business? The dates you could have gone on and education you could have pursued?
Some things require you to wait. But today let’s start one simple thing that we’ve always wanted to pursue. It doesn’t have to be big or extravagant. It could be writing letters to someone or buying some clay to make figurines.
Life is too short to care about what others think. That’s something i struggle with. And it may not even be the thought of others judging you that’s holding you back. It could be money or time or resources. Those are a big deal. But you also have a big God. If he’s put a calling on your spirit he will be there to provide for it. Pursuing your dreams can be scary. But what’s scarier is waking up at the judgment throne to hear God say “what have you done with the time I’ve given you?” To find you didn’t do anything you really wanted to do.
